Many different types of cyclist visit Arran, simply because this stunning island has so much to offer, but there are narrow and winding country roads, steep hills, changeable road surfaces and dangerously fast descents, not to mention a wide variety of other vehicles, runners, walkers and horse riders sharing the roads!
Many groups cycle around Arran’s coast roads for lots of different reasons, some for charity or club outings, others for fun or as a personal challenge. However, with the implementation of cheaper fares through road equivalent tariff (RET), the road traffic on Arran has increased considerably, please read the information on our 'Cycling Arran' page designed to help make your Arran adventure safer and more enjoyable!
Our Facebook page has all the live and up to date information regarding what's happening week to week, so why not join in and get involved when you're next on the island.
We don't ask anything for club membership, downloadable route maps, club rides, trail maintenance, information, etc, but we do need to raise a little money each year to cover costs such as website hosting, insurance, tools, print, etc.
Thank you for your support and happy cycling.
